Nero Marquina Natural Marble Mosaic Cutting Strips – 10 × 6 mm

Nero Marquina is a classic deep black natural marble with fine white calcite veins and occasional lighter mineral markings. Its strong contrast and elegant graphic pattern make it one of the most versatile dark stones for traditional and contemporary mosaics.

This black marble works beautifully for outlines, shadows, lettering, geometric ornaments, architectural details and dramatic backgrounds. It combines especially well with white, cream, red, yellow, green and soft beige stone.

These natural marble mosaic cutting strips are prepared for cutting into tesserae and smaller modules. They are suitable for traditional Roman mosaics, artistic panels, ornaments, portraits, tabletops, kitchen backsplashes, wall mosaics and decorative floor details.

Part of the Edelstein Atelier collection of more than 30 carefully selected natural stone colours. The consistent strip profile makes different colours easy to combine within one mosaic.

Natural Stone Characteristics

Marble is a natural material. Each strip is unique and may contain veins, mineral inclusions, tonal variations, small chips or microcracks. Occasional breakage can occur because of the natural structure of the stone and is not considered a product defect.

Cutting Recommendation

Use mosaic nippers or a traditional martellina to cut the strips into tesserae and custom shapes.

We recommend ordering 10–15% extra material, especially when consistent colour matching is important. Natural marble may vary slightly between batches.
