Maslavka Natural Granite Mosaic Cutting Strips – 10 × 6 mm

Maslavka is a richly textured natural granite with an intricate crystalline pattern in olive green, grey, cream and deep brown-black tones. Its lively mineral structure creates subtle movement and a naturally speckled, organic appearance in every mosaic.

This expressive granite works beautifully for landscapes, foliage, tree bark, animals, architectural details, geometric ornaments and complex neutral backgrounds. It combines especially well with cream, white, black, beige, brown, ochre and green stone.

These natural granite mosaic cutting strips are prepared for cutting into tesserae and smaller modules. They are suitable for traditional Roman mosaics, artistic panels, ornaments, portraits, tabletops, kitchen backsplashes, wall mosaics and decorative floor details.

Part of the Edelstein Atelier collection of more than 30 carefully selected natural stone colours. The consistent strip profile makes different colours easy to combine within one mosaic.

Natural Stone Characteristics

Granite is a natural material. Each strip is unique and may contain mineral inclusions, tonal variations, small chips or microcracks. Occasional breakage can occur because of the natural structure of the stone and is not considered a product defect.

Cutting Recommendation

Use mosaic nippers or a traditional martellina to cut the strips into tesserae and custom shapes.

We recommend ordering 10–15% extra material, especially when consistent colour matching is important. Natural granite may vary slightly between batches.
